On February 25, FOCUS Missionaries shared their personal evangelization experiences on college campuses at a wine & cheese social at St. Aloysius Parish in New Canaan, Connecticut. A big thank you to Jim McGlaughlin for organizing this exciting event!
The event provided an opportunity for an about 40 friends and parishioners to learn about how FOCUS missionaries connect students with their faith. The missionary talks were powerful, bringing many in the audience to tears.
The presentations were followed by a lively Q & A session. A local youth minister raved about FOCUS’ effect on a local college grad who had a lackluster faith during high school, and is now very involved with the local Catholic youth group. Nearly everyone in the room nodded in acknowledgement of the young man’s transformation.
After the program, attendees received prayer cards that included an offer to connect with their college-aged son or daughter (or other friend or family member). If their college campus is not currently counted among the 100+ campuses with FOCUS missionaries, FOCUS Digital Campus, a team of missionaries dedicated to reaching students online, will connect with them.
